About Marlene Fast

I photograph children, families, high school grads, fine art, pictorial, scenics.

I love photography; working (playing) in Photoshop; the rain; my clients; winter (if it would last only 2 months); spending time with my friends and family; learning about the latest in photography trends and styles; Tim Hortons coffee (large, black, please); my cat; Christmas; people; travel; Africa; elephants; Disney World; making people laugh; spring; flower gardens; listening to the amazing music of Matt Anderson.

A girl and her first car!

I photographed Emilie for her grad from Providence College in Otterburne last year.  Emilie is an exuberant person, full of life!  She popped by the studio on the 17th of November when the temperature outside was 11° C! (average for this date was -6°C).  She told me she had just purchased her first car and wanted to do some outdoor photos.  Unfortunately I couldn’t book her in immediately and we scheduled the session for the 30th of November.

The day arrived with a light dusting of snow and when she arrived at 3:00 for her session it was -1°.  But, we braved the weather and got some wonderful photos!

Did I say Emilie loves anything cowboy?  Look at those great boots and, of course, the cowboy hat!  Considering the chilly temperatures, we got some wonderful images!
