Mt BFF, Inge and I returned from hot, sunny Disney World very late Friday night. What a great trip! We had wonderful weather – we met some great people.
One of my favorite people I met was Mark – our guide to the “Keys to the Kingdom” tour.
For anyone heading out to Disney World – this tour is a ‘must see’ in my opinion. We had a chance to find out all kinds of trivia and information on the background of Walt Disney World, the Magic Kingdom – and we had a chance to enter the Utilidors (the underground ‘city’ where all the Cast Members roam). Can’t say anymore – we were sworn to secrecy!

We were allowed into the Tusker House Restaurant in Animal Kingdom and Inge and I were photographing the wonderful sights when one of the Cast Members asked if he could take our photo! Of course! Just before he clicked the shutter, another cast member, Mat jumped into the photo! He went on to tell us that his aim is to be in as many vacationer’s photos as possible and jumps into photos all the time!
On our first day in the Animal Kingdom, we went on the Kilimanjaro Safari and Mark realized I was celebrating my birthday and he had Inge and I sit in the front row of the Safari vehicle. We had a great view and the opportunity to take some awesome photos! Thanks, Mark!
This photo, Inge is photographing Jonathan (from Paris, France) and Christopher (from New York). They work in the Guerlain perfume shop in the France Pavillion in Epcot. Jonathan really loved the camera – and got our Blog addresses so he could check out the photos! If you’re reading this Jonathan – have a Merry Christmas!
And then there was Jean who has worked at Pizzafari Restaurant in the Animal Kingdom for almost 14 years. Jean is 71 years old and took us around to different rooms so we could photograph the amazing paintings on the walls! She saw my Birthday button and asked if she could bring me a cupcake – and they sang Happy Birthday to me! It was great! Where else can you celebrate your birthday for a whole week?
