Lazy days of summer! I’m spending the long weekend at one of my favorite places – Brandon, MB. What makes Brandon so special? Well – the people, of course! I’m visiting my best friend, Inge and her husband Michael and their gorgeous dogs, Hunter and Grissom.
We’ve spent hours outdoors – they have a gorgeous, private, tranquil back yard. We’ve eaten ALL meals out on the patio – what more can we wish for?
Inge and I were going to go out to do some photography, and when some heavy, dark clouds started forming behind McKenzie Seeds, we got our cameras and headed out. Before we got there – the clouds had blown away! But we were right in front of Brandon City Hall and it was awash with gorgeous flowers. So we stopped and just photographed for about 1/2 an hour. I had my new Nikon 70-200mm lens and all these photos are taken with it. I love the lens!
