I am so thrilled with my gorgeous art that I wanted to share it with you. More than a year ago, I purchased an awesome image from a very talented photographer, Tamara Peatkau. The print I fell in love with is titled “Minutiae” and I promptly ordered it. It took me a year to have it matted and framed. Now when I’m looking at it I wonder why it took me so long!
The other print that I recently ordered for myself (my Christmas gift to me) was a wonderful print by Trevor Brucki. He has posted some of his Fine Art work online at Pictage and when going through all the fabulous images, I kept coming back to the one taken in the Arc de Triomphe. Trevor’s comments on this image was: This is the stairs that you walk up in the Arc Du Triumph. We were sooooo tired from walking, and then we realized that we needed to climb these stairs to get to the top. I stopped halfway up because I was tired, and then I thought “this would be a cool shot
Yes, Trevor – it is a very cool shot!

And look at the beautiful wall hanging on the right side. I just purchased that today from Ten Thousand Villages – they have a wonderful store right here in Steinbach! The colours of the wall hanging (made in India) really complement the two framed prints and also the colour of my wall. These are all displayed in my dining room so I look at these all day.
I just love these three pieces. Thank you Tamara and Trevor! Your art makes me smile! ![]()
Later.
