They came – 101 children in total! It seemed as if the Castle Bouncer had a magnet inside! They came from the parking lot – they spied the bouncer and they raced away from Mom and Dad – right towards the bouncer. A huge hit!

This party was for all of my clients with families – in my continuing celebration of 30 years in photography! We had a beautiful day – a bit windy – and a heavy, overcast and rainy Friday – but the Saturday of the party was beautiful. (Held on oh six, oh seven, oh eight) We had greeters at the entrance to the park…

Holly was one of the greeters and checked off those that RSVP’d and she also handed out the ‘treat bags’ (inside the storage boxes behind her).

Tori assisted Holly and I think they both did a great job!

We had face painters… the line-ups were long! That’s Allyssa on the left and Janelle on the right.

Babies too little to enjoy the events came as well…

The playground was also well utilized.

Thats Carey – the Balloon Artist – kids were lining up and keeping him busy the entire time (oh, except for a bit when he took a break to eat).

Oh yes – these are the two ladies that made all this happen. Barb (office manager) and Janie (sister and party planner extraordinaire!).

I also had the help of another sister, Val – but she’s kind of camera shy.

The canteen was kept busy. We served hotdogs with fresh baked buns from Sobeys – chips – ice cream treats and freezees and bottled water and pop and for those that were inclined on such a warm day – coffee! I don’t think anyone left hungry!

Oh yes – one lucky girl was celebrating her birthday that day – and I made sure her family got some special treats! Hope you had a fabulous day, Kamryn!

Young and old enjoyed the ice cream treats (I’m not calling you old Jonathan!) – you can’t see it – but he got his face painted as well and he had an ice cream revel painted on his cheek!

Back to the bouncer – very popular – here is little Avalon just having a great time!

Her mom, Leanne Unger is one of the two ladies that are supplying the trip to Disney World! Don’t forget to call us to see how you can enter your name! The cars started lining up shortly after 4:00 pm on Monday, October 22nd – the day of my 30th Anniversary Client Appreciation Wine & Cheese Party! Kyle was at the end of the driveway directing traffic. And they kept coming…

Barb spent days collecting negatives for those clients that RSVP’d. My gift to those in attendance was all their film negatives!

There were displays throughout the studio and spilled into my home – which was open to everyone.

Barb Dyck, RNG (you must ask her sometime what that stands for!) was kept busy handing out Gift Bags and Negatives to those that came – there was quite a line-up for awhile!

Oh yes – one of the portraits on display was of the very first family I ever photographed!

One of the features of the event was the introduction of Redfox Designs. These are Fine Art Images that have been photographed by me and are available for purchase for your home or office! We had two Door Prizes of the Fine Art Images – congratulations to Jonathan and Laurie!

We also offered two other door prizes for attending the party and the winners were Marisa and Lori.

This is my baby sister, Janie Thiessen, who made it all happen! Barb and I spent over a year planning this event – but Janie was the person that did all the running around, phone calls, food ordering, organizing… what can I say?? Thank you Janie!

And now I want to thank all my former clients that have supported me over the past 30 years in photography. I can’t believe it has been 30 years! I have seen so many wonderful people during that time. It’s hard to believe – 30 years…. I tell people I just just 2 years old when I started!

I am just so excited about this. I have been in business 30 years!!! Can you believe it?? I like to say that I was just two when I started! But seriously – this is a Client Appreciation Wine & Cheese Party. I wouldn’t be here without you – my many clients. You’ve made it happen. You’ve made it fun and exciting! I hope that I have given you years of pleasure with the portraits I have created and captured. So, of course the question is… how can I ever thank you?? By having a PARTY! So – mark your calendars NOW – Monday evening, October 22, 2007 between the hours of 4:30 and 8:30 pm we’ll be serving a little bit of wine – a little bit of cheese, some veggies, cheese and crackers and the reason everyone has to come – some fabulous home made dainties baked fresh by my very favorite Aunt!!!!! It just doesn’t get any better than this.

Oh yes – another thing…. if you RSVP by October 15th, you will receive your Film Negatives FREE as a Thank You from me. If you have been a client when I was using film – you will receive all your negatives that evening!!! During the evening, which is a ‘come and go’ by the way, we will have some memorabilia on display – our serving personel will be wearing what people did in 1977 when I photographed my first sessions! There will be door prize draws as well.
