You don’t! You take them all! Now some people might call these ‘Lifestyle’ photographs, but these are MORE than that! You have control of the lighting and posing even though it doesn’t look like you have posed this family. Now THAT’S what professional photography is all about – making it look unposed when you have actually guided people into position. They’re NOT just ‘snapshots’ like all the ‘cheap and cheerful’ photographers out there claim are ‘Lifestyle’ photography. You have captured the relationships in this family perfectly, and I can feel the warmth among the family members. How lucky are they to have had you as their photographer!

Thank you Inge. It takes years to learn all the rules of composition and lighting and how to use your camera – and once you’ve perfected that – you can break the rules! You’re right – these photographs didn’t ‘just happen’ – I guided each and every ‘pose’ and know how to use window light to my advantage!  Recently I photographed Nichole and Don for their maternity session. And I was thrilled when their little baby girl arrived and I could photograph her at just 6 days old! Welcome sweet Bailey – you’re so beautiful! Thank you Nichole and Don and Bailey! I can’t wait to see her grow up! by admin 2 comments

Hey marlene Its helen I was wondering how much it would cost to get a couple pictures of my 1 year old son logan and some maternity pictures done . I have a question If i was to get maternity picture done could you fix the picture where my strech marks dont show lol thanks  Today was the day of my “Holiday Mini-Sessions”. I booked three sessions and all were completely different! My first clients were the winners of my Walt Disney World trip last year! This time they decided to have just the girls photographed. Having had Marlene photograph me and my husband and dogs in our own home, I can personally vouch for the fact that it is a treat to be photographed in a familiar place. No stress, just warm and comfortable… And Marlene can preform magic when she photographs you! So I highly recommend this option to anyone who wants a special photographic experience! Call her and have her capture your in the comfort of your own home! We did and she did a fabulous job for us! Thanks you Marlene! And btw, these photos of Cheryl and Jeff are precious!  Last Saturday I had the privilege of photographing a wonderful family. Okay – ALL my families are wonderful! But each one is fun to photograph in a different way.
