I blush Marlene! It is you who brought me to where I am in my photography career. Your mentoring has made me what I am today, without you I would not be as successful in my chosen second career. We love having you here in Brandon, and miss you as soon as you have rounded the corner on your way home. It seems we feed off eachother, whether we’re talking shop, or Africa or Disney. oooxxx  There has been something I have wanted to do for quite some time – and that is “In-Home” Portraits. I did my first sessions this past March… “awaiting the baby” and again in “another ‘in-home’ portrait session, while in Brandon. Having had Marlene photograph me and my husband and dogs in our own home, I can personally vouch for the fact that it is a treat to be photographed in a familiar place. No stress, just warm and comfortable… And Marlene can preform magic when she photographs you! So I highly recommend this option to anyone who wants a special photographic experience! Call her and have her capture your in the comfort of your own home! We did and she did a fabulous job for us! Thanks you Marlene! And btw, these photos of Cheryl and Jeff are precious! Thanks Marlene, these images brought tears to my eyes. It is difficult for us be so far away from Des and Rebecca and not experience the joys of his beautiful family. Thank you for stunning images and thank-you for helping him share his family with us!

Beautiful work, Marlene! You have a brilliant new concept ahead of you… It just goes to show that you’re so talented that you don’t need your studio lights at all! You can adapt to the environments that surround you everywhere and anywhere!

Hey Marlene; Nelson  I spent the last 4 days in Brandon again and had a few adventures. Firstly the drive through white-out conditions was tense – then an evening viewing some wonderful images at a “Wine & Cheese” Reception featuring some African images, then a maternity session and a portrait session! The last image is spectacular! I told Inge that she has to do something with it, Definitely!! It’s so emotionally charged – perhaps we can convince her to find a new home for some of her art in the living room and print a 50″ canvas for the great wall! Great Job Marlene I know it’s been quite a while since my last post – my apologies! But I have been working on some renovations in the studio – moving offices – but also changing my “Castle” set background! As soon as it is done – I’ll post some images.
